Kaloyan Yordanov

Kaloyan Yordanov is a Bulgarian qualified lawyer with an extensive professional experience in Corporate and M&A, Real Estate, Lease Agreements, Banking and Commercial Law. He is a member of the Sofia Bar Association. Kaloyan holds a Master’s degree in Law from Sofia University and Master’s degree in Business Administration from New Bulgarian University.

Kaloyan gained his considerable experience in major international law firms.  He was a Managing Associate and co-head of the Corporate & M&A and the Real Estate practices of Deloitte Legal (2015 until 2023, where he was at the position of Senior Associate between 2015 and 2017), and an Associate at the Banking and Finance Practice of CMS Cameron McKenna LLP - Bulgaria Branch (2008 - 2015). For 9 months in 2021 - 2022, Kaloyan was seconded and temporary undertook the role and responsibilities of the head of legal for Bulgaria of the multi-national real estate management group NEPI Rockcastle, owner and operator of Serdika Center and Serdika Office and of Paradise Mall in Sofia. Between 2006 and 2008, Kaloyan was head of legal of Bulgarian Home Loans, a subsidiary of an UK mortgage advisory company, offering services to foreign clients in relation to mortgage loans provided by Bulgarian banks.

He is a deputy chair of Multi Kulti Collective, a nonprofit organisation working to achieve integration of citizens of the EU and third countries, refugees and ethnic minorities in Bulgaria.
